About Me

I have an MMath and PGCE (teaching qualification) from the University of Warwick.

Since gaining 10 years experience of classroom teaching (KS3, GCSE and A-Level) in both state and private sector schools, I have been a full time Maths tutor for over 10 years.

As a tutor, I have been focusing on 1-1 face to face sessions in and around Bedford, teaching students from year 4 up to A-Level and beyond. Since March 2020, the majority of these tutees have opted for online tuition.

I recognise the individuality of each tutee and personalise their learning accordingly. I like working to my tutees’ strengths to build confidence, but also target significant areas of weakness. The aim is to inspire them to realise that they are capable of conquering their difficulties and become increasingly independent.

While a weekly session works well for many, I am flexible with what works for each student and will be honest in my assessment of their needs.
